Located in a magnificent setting, in the heart of the Mâcon vineyards, the Château de la Barge, which dates back to 1679, is a splendid place to stop on your holiday tour. It is also an ideal location for receptions, business dinners and seminars. Worth a visit: the Solutré rock, the 65 villages on the Mâcon-Beaujolais wine route, the Roman churches (Cluny, Tournus, etc.), the wine museum, Pierreclos château and Cormatin château, where the poet Lamartine, a native of the region, stayed.
